Achievements

Winning Miss East Anglia 2008 has been one of my biggest achievements for this year as well as qualifying as a Chanel beauty consultant, and having the opportunity to teach dance to children at ‘The Dance House’. The year previous I was the female vocalist and entertainer for TedUK Everything Entertainment Agency, where I was able to be part of a show team, take part in productions ranging from cabarets to pantomimes, hosting game shows, presenting acts and dressing up in characters, it was a valuable experience to set me up to where I am today. I have done advertising for Snappy Snaps and modelled still life for Watershed Studios, was a dancer and extra for a music video for Nublues, ‘swamp thang’, and had many opportunities directing for different companies and shows, even at college for a final major project of ‘Our County’s Good’, where I not only got to play the leading lady but helped Ben Treacher direct some amazing scenes. My training started at the age of three when I started to become a regular at the Jacqueline Annis School of Dance, trained with many exams with syllabus by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, and through this managed to raise a lot of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and St. Helena Hospice, I am proud to say from there on, I achieved singing to a high standard with Keith Ashworth and won the highest achiever in Drama at Tendring Technology College, but my prime achievement was doing a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at ‘The Centre of Performing Arts’ and achieving the highest grades with Triple Distinction.

Ambitions

I would love to continue acting and singing in which I would love to progress further to perform in a west end musical, it has also been a dream of mine since a young girl to play a character in Disneyland. The opportunity arose to raise money for St. Helena Hospice and Great Ormond Street Hospital through performing a variety of shows in which I thoroughly enjoyed and would like to continue my charity work particularly for children’s charities; in which I feel most strongly about and would love to make a valuable contribution to the community and make a difference to other people’s lives in a positive manner.
