Achievements

I have recently received my degree in English Literature from Cardiff University, gaining a 2.1. I have also successfully completed my A-Levels, gaining two A's in P.E and Religious Studies, as well as two B's in English literature and History. I have also completed further As Levels in critical thinking. At school I gained eleven GCSE grades (A*-A's). My variety of interests in music and sports can be seen in my various other achievements. I have gained grade four in the clarinet and taken various singing exams. I was lucky enough to represent the Newton Abbot girls choir in Southbank, London. I also have my gold award in Jazz dance, as well as introductory in tap and modern. I have represented both my school and university in the netball and athletics team. In doing so I was able to gain my life saving and bronze medallion awards. Furthermore my various voluntary work allows me to help children with learning difficulties and other educational needs. I have volunteered at schools helping children who struggle learning, whist taking those with various other needs on social trips. I have also taught English to thai children, whilst on a monthly visit. My most recent achievements is completing both a skydive in New Zealand and a bungy in Australia.

Talents

Modelling, dance, music, travel, volunteer work, sport and charity work.

Ambitions

My passion is to win the Miss England title. This is a prestigious title that I would be proud to represent. I would first and foremost like to use this as a way of benefiting others. After taking a gap year I have seen some of the poorest countries in the world. It is my desire to help others in any way I can, both in England and the rest of the world. The Miss England title would allow me to do this, especially with the prize money and status. I am a passionate and caring person and would like to help others in any way I can. Whether this be through talks, charity work or hands-on volunteer work. Furthermore, I would like to use the title as a way of combating the stereotyping that goes with the position. I feel that a lot of people think that stupid uneducated women enter this competition, whereas this is completely untrue. I myself have been a victim of this stereotyping and would like to prove others wrong. Finally, what an achievement it would be to wear the crown. I would love to make my family proud of me more than anything. I can't tell you how happy and honoured they would be. I am ready for a challenge and I think this is the one for me.
