Along with 10 G.C.S.E's grades A*-C I have also passed an AS level in Chemistry and 3 A-Levels in French, Biology and General Studies. I have held off going to university for the time being to concentrate on my modelling; however I am hoping to go to university in a couple of years to study broadcasting as I hope to get into production and eventually presenting. Winning Miss Cornwall in 2009 was such an amazing experience, I was also crowned Miss Cornwall Charity 2009 as I managed to raise a total of £1100 for the fabulous Cornish based charity TUKAE. I was crowned Miss England Charity queen 2009 as I raised over £3500, and Miss Modelesque by the Fresh Photographic academy. Being crowned Miss Guildford 2010 and making it through to the finals of Miss England again this year is my biggest achievement to date, I hope to go onto Miss World as Miss England and represent our country with pride. In 2007 I won the Face of Plymouth competition- out of over 300 entrants. This helped kick start my modelling; since then I have recently finished filming Series 6 of Britain’s Next Top Model, which appears on our screens this month. I like to keep fit; so in keeping with the charity work I run the Race for Life every year to raise money for Breast Cancer Research, and over the past 6 years have raised over £1500 for this cause. I first went to dance classes at three years old and have since passed with the highest marks; up to elementary standard in ballet and grades 1-5 in tap and modern. I have also received my Bronze, Silver and Gold Jazz awards. I have completed the Ten Tors Expedition, covering a 35-mile course. This annual event takes place over one weekend on Dartmoor National Park. Thousands of teams compete and it proves to be a huge challenge every year with hundreds of teams dropping out. Another one of my more unusual achievements, of which I am extremely proud, is completing my Bronze, Silver and more recently Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Gold Award has taken five years to complete and has seen me dancing, sailing, hiking over 200 miles on Dartmoor, volunteering at a local dance school, spending a week at a French windsurfing school in Benodet, volunteering in Derriford Hospital for six months and I also volunteered over several weeks at Plymouth Argyle Football Club working with disabled children to improve their academic skills.

Dancing has always been a passion of mine, I also enjoy most water sports- I am a real water baby and therefore take advantage of every opportunity to go surfing, sailing and water skiing. I have been able to surf from a young age and first sailed when I was seven and I have passed a number of RYA levels in sailing. I have worked hard to make a good start in my modelling career and would like to continue to expand my career into presenting and television and film work. I can speak conversational French confidently.

Ambition - An eager or strong desire to achieve success, distinction, fortune or the like; will to succeed. My strong desire is to achieve a particular end. That particular end is to be crowned Miss England 2010. I have always been taught to make the best of what you have and always strive to achieve. I understand the responsibilities of becoming an avid role model and understand how difficult it is to do such a thing in today’s society. I would thrive from every opportunity thrown at me and would ensure every bit of charity work and every public appearance that I undertook was completed with heart and soul. I would put every energy into making England proud of their contestant in Miss World and would love to become a fantastic role model for every ambitious young woman in England.
