Achievements

I am very pleased with leaving school with 9 GCSE's. I attended Grimsby College where I studied both NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in Business Studies & Business Administration. After I completed that I wanted to be more creative so I went on to study BTEC Diploma in Beauty Therapy Science. Since leaving my education, I have gone on to become an Account Manager for Konica Minolta, a leading global company that specializes in Business Solutions. At the moment I am becoming successful in sales, customer service and key account management and I love my job. I get to help and assist companies become Global Friendly. I help reduce their paper usage, encourage them to recycle waste toners and discard old equipment. This is helping companies become Greener and Ozone Friendly. Campaigned within my commuinty to rally support from local residents to abolish plans to build an extra 300 unecessary homes in our beautiful country village and instead encourage the council to build commuinty sports facilities to help encourage young teens to be more active and to put there creative energy into something productive. Continue to help raise awareness and funds for Cancer Care Cymru - A Welsh Charity that I support very strongly both financially and emotionally. Modelling Achievements: Front Cover Girl & Presenter for Sky Sports 1 - Cage Rage & of course being Miss Grimsby & District 2008. My proudest achievement has to be being a good role model and big sister to Aimee aged 8.

Talents

My Lemon Meringue Pie is incredible and I have to say I also make my own pastry. Cooking and Baking is something I love to do, even as a little girl, I loved to bake cookies etc. Knitting - I know this is not something a girl my age does but I find it so therapeutic and calming. I love that if you put the time and effort into something, you can create anything your heart desires. (Hats, Scarfs, Blankets, Gloves, Jumpers and it is so much cheaper than buying clothes) Singing is something I love to do, I like my voice and I love to write my own songs as I have alot to say. I have been lucky enough to record my own demo called "Do You Remember". The talent that I get most joy out of is using my Beauty Degree to make other women feel confident within themselves. I understand that no one is perfect, I myself have an appendix scar, moles and a few extra pounds but with the right tools of the trade and a good smile, we can all look good but most importantly, feel sexy and confident from the inside.....If I can make a woman feel like that then my job is done.

Ambitions

I am very ambitious, and I have been very lucky and blessed that I have experienced alot for my age even the hardest things that life has to throw at me. I lost my Father to Cancer when I was 15 years old, this alone taught me to trust that life is for living and just when you feel you're lost, life can all of a sudden show you a light at the end of the tunnel. With all these experiences I plan to write a book, something that young girls can read and know that they are not alone. Fashion is another keen interest of mine, and being very creative, I one day plan to have my very own fashion house, where I would design and produce clothing for women with REAL womanly curves. This would give jobs to women who have the same passion for fashion as me. In an ideal world, I would love to design, manufacture and retail my fashion line in England. Representing England would be a huge honour for me, as I am a country girl at heart and something as huge as Miss World would be a dream come true. I would love to travel and bring back my experiences to England. Most of all, I would like to make the most out my position as Miss England. I would like to raise more awareness for the needy, bring them the ray of light, bring hope to those less fortunate. This would make me feel complete. Finally.....I would like to one day marry, have children and grow old gracefully.
