Achievements

Currently I am a part qualified Chartered Accountant, studying under the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, and will be fully qualified by the end of the year. I have also started my own jewellery business, which encompasses procurement of pieces and design and manufacture of one off items. Earlier this year I single-handedly organised an exhibition, which proved to be very successful. As well as this, I have learned to make jewellery. In addition to my achievements stated above, I completed University with a 2:1 in Economics (BSc). My most recent achievement was winning the Asian Woman Runway Pageant.

Talents

I have always been fond of sports and working out in the gym. I am a very strong runner and make it my goal to try and run 10 miles a week. I recently ran Race for Life for Cancer Research UK. Further, I play badminton with friends, go swimming when possible and at University I was a member of a netball team. I am a keen cyclist and in June 2009 I completed the 54 mile London to Brighton bike ride for the British Heart Foundation. Jewellery design is an area in which I am extremely creative and this is something I take great pleasure in doing. My passion for jewellery has led me to start my own jewellery company, which is now in its second year of trading. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with new and fun recipes, particularly desserts, which I have always had a sweet tooth for.

Ambitions

My greatest ambition is to be the best that I can be. For me this means, controlling a successful and well established jewellery company. Once I have mastered the art of making jewellery I would also like to start a jewellery school teaching others the skills and techniques I have learned. In the short term I would like to be successful as a Chartered Accountant and use the skills I develop through this occupation to aid my own business to prosper in the future. I would also like to use my talent in running to run the London Marathon, raising money for charity, and participating in other charity fund raising events.
