Miss England 2010 will be held as a two day event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Tues 31st August and Weds 1st September

Achievements

Obviously I am delighted to have won Miss London 2008! I also hold 9 GCSE's and 3 A-levels and graduated from The london College of Fashion last summer where I completed a degree in Fashion Design and Technology. I undertook an internship for London based fashion designer Julien Macdonald for 8 months gaining much experience for fashion and design and have recently started a full time job as an assistant designer at French Connection. I took a gap year after school where I lived abroad for 10 months - volunteering and also working in schools in a development town teaching young children English. I also completed a 2 months intense army basic training course. Last January I choreographed and organised a charity fashion show where we raised £10,000.
Talents

I love culture, art and design and I dance in a professional folk dance group. We perform at many events, weddings and major venues. I am also a freelance folk dance teacher.
Ambitions

To progress in my career path in fashion design - my dream is to eventually have my own London based eveningwear design label. I also wanted to win Miss London and Miss England to support curvier women. I have tried a number of times to get into modelling however I have been branded by various agencies as 'too big.' I am a healthy size 12 and I believe I promote REAL WOMEN and wish to show that you dont have to be a size zero to be beautiful.
