Achievements

Achievement is a word which can have a different meaning for every individual. On a personal level achievement for myself started at the tender age of 7, when I become title holder of The Variety Club Of Great Britain Young Entertainer Of The Year Northwest of England and Wales. From there on I found a drive for success, achievement and greater outlook on life. I went on to be a winner and finalist of many different talents competitions, including an national talent competition run by Haven on two occasions, and part of the musical production Annie. I danced at championship level in Ireland as well as England, also performing on the Liverpool Empire, Winter Gardens Blackpool, Blackpool Tower Theatre, Floral Hall Southport and New Brighton and many more theatres. From the age of five I have been passionate and felt a honoured to use my talents to raise money performing numerous talents shows for charities. Theses have included: Woodlands Hospice, Claire House Appeal, Dream makers Charity, Multiple Scoliosis Society, Walking With Giants Foundation, Linda McCartney Centre, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Children in Need. Alongside this I was a keen Gymnast representing British Gymnastics in England at the British Ministrada in Scotland. At the age of eleven I had the honour to become a member of the Royal Philharmonic Choir, and was a promising athlete in Cross-Country and Hurdles for the Liverpool Harriers also representing my school at the Merseyside Schools Championship League for Athletes. My first taste of modelling experience came when I was chosen out of 500 hopefuls to be a child model in the Liverpool Echo Fashion Show in a three day event. My dream to continue my success came to an abrupt end when at the age of twelve, when I developed a Chronic Pain Condition known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. Which lead to me being paralysed and confided to a wheelchair. Being mainly hospitalised with chronic pain taking over my life I was isolated. With great determination and extensive individual believe and fight, I feel my greatest achievement is in defeating odds and doctors results I have stood and learnt to walk again. Without any schooling for four years, but a mere four hours a week, in a period of sixth months only I gained my G.C.S.E’s with grades C and above. Within completing my G.C.S.E’s I have sat my AS levels last year and gained grades A’s, I am currently finishing off my A level exams with grades B and above. I also hold a European Computer Driving Licence and a Coaching Leadership Award.

Talents

My talents I have been told by a lot of individuals that I always take life and problems I face with great spirit and determination, I have a positive and happy outlook on anything I take on or am asked to complete. I feel I am a great liaison/ communicator and stand as representative for others, as I am very assertive and a great believer that life’s path gives us obstacles but with the focus beyond the obstacles- “Nothing is impossible”.

Ambitions

Looking beyond my dream to represent my country in Miss World competition. My other ambition would be to gain a place at University when I could study to be a Pain Psychologist and specialise in adolesant pain management. I am currently using my passionate drive to develop a charity for “Adolesant with Chronic Pain and Illness”. creating a multidisciplinary team and provide adequate education and support which is currently none existent. With out this support, as it stands now, there is a high level of life taking. To reduce the difficulty, fight and struggle endured by myself and others. I also wish for myself to stay blessed to have my health controlled and reach all I set out to do. I wish good health and happiness to all. I wish to presume a career in modelling and be a positive role model for future generations, and provide a positive impact on those suffering at the hands of any bad health or illness.
