Achievements

My greatest achievements to date are definitely academic. I achieved two A grades and a B for my three A levels in subjects including Travel and Tourism and Law. I then went onto study a BSC (hons) degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University. After four strenuous years I was pleased to learn that i received the highest mark out of the entire faculty and was awarded a 1st with a mark of 82%. However, my latest achievement was being crowned Miss West Sussex 2009

Talents

I take pride in my appearance and like to keep myself fit and healthy. I have won numerous awards and certificates in swimming galas and netball tournaments. I was a keen dancer and have performed in a variety of contemporary and modern jazz productions at my local theatres. Nowadays to keep my fitness levels up I attend regular aerobic and step classes. I also think it is just as important to keep your mind healthy as well as your body and therefore go to weekly yoga, Pilates and body balance classes.

Ambitions

My main passion is travelling. I am currently working as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and love exploring new destinations and the diversity of different cultures. My tourism education certainly allows me to appreciate these differences more. My only life long ambition is to try and have no regrets. Recent personal events have made me realise that life really is precious and you should live everyday as its your last. I am also a big believer in fate and that paths cross and events, be it good or bad, happen for a reason. I am fully aware of how fortunate we are in this country and would like the opportunity one day to combine my educational tourism background and travelling experiences with Virgin to make a difference to people in developing countries that are not as fortunate as we are here in England.
