My experience of television production included “Tribal Wives” for the BBC. I was part of the research team responsible for the provision of factual information of anthropological and cultural profiles of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.I was fortunate to achieve this through a combination of hard work, networking and determination.
Working alongside presenters Jenni Powell and Jenny Falconer on live television for channel 5 was an excellent opportunity to gain an informed insight into the world of media
Singing has nutured me through times of illness.I was awarded a singing scholarship at Colston Girls School in Bristol.
Being an Army Cadet was a very enlightening experience and I completed the arduous TenTors 25 mile trek. This is a 2 day trek across Dartmoor carrying all our equipment and enduring blisters and harsh environmental conditions – all with a smile.
Winning Miss York in 2011 and being awarded Miss North Yorkshire in 2012 has enabled me to embark on an incredible journey. Last year I was awarded Miss Helen E at the Miss England 2011 competition and was placed in the final 15 girls. |
