Awards

Various awards will be presented at the national finals on Miss England in London. 50 contestants will each be competing for the title of Miss England and a number of sponsored awards. Each sponsor will select a winning contestant who will then be fast tracked in to the final 20 of Miss England .

The 2008 awards include ;

The Pretty Polly Lovely Legs award www.prettypolly.co.uk

The winner of this award will have the opportunity to model for Pretty Polly and receive a £250 Pretty Polly Goody Box and be fast tracked through to the final 20.

The Miss England finalists are each being invited by the Institute of Cancer to fund raise for the Miss England chosen charity "Walk with Cancer" . The top fund raiser by the time the final takes place will be fast tracked through to the final 20 and be crowned Miss Charity and win a prize worth £1000.

The winner of the Great Lengths stunning style award will receive hair extensions to the value of £1000 place in the final 20 of Miss England.

The winner of the Aesthetics Best smile award will be fast tracked through to the final 20 and win a Aesthetics signature smile package worth £1000 .

The Aguaclara Best swimwear model will be fast tracked to the final 20 of Miss England and win 2 sets of Aguaclara swimwear , 2 full sets of Orhideja lingerie, chance to model Aguaclara at The Paris Mode city show in September 2008, The chance to model for Aguaclara at various trade shows , showroom and press days during the year and a possible commercial photoshoot with Aguaclara swimwear and Orhideja lingerie .

Lipsy London will choose a Miss Lipsy who will be fast tracked through to the final round and receive £500 worth of clothing to spend at www.lipsy.co.uk

Each of the 50 finalists will have the chance to enter Miss Talent by submitting a home made DVD of their talent to the organisers of Miss England before the show. The Miss England office will select the ten most talented female's , who's DVDs will be shown on the night of the final over dinner. The Miss England office will then select the most talented contestant who will be presented with £500 cash and membership to www.starnow.com sponsors for the fourth year running. The winner of Miss Talent will also be fast tracked through to the final 20.

The Fresh academy will choose the "Fresh Modelesque" , who in their opion is the most photogenic contestant. The winner of this award will receive a Fresh photoshoot, portfolio and be fast tracked through to the final 20 .

Miss Eco Girl

All contestants have been asked to consider a method of dressing that shows awareness
and the importance of re-using & recycling where ever possible. A great opportunity to
avoid the high street , go to a charity shop, raid grannies wardrobe or make
something themselves. The Miss England office and the events manager from
www.letsrecycle.com will choose a winner at the welcome party!
